Attorney Profile

Ashley was born and raised in Alabaster, Alabama where she graduated Salutatorian from Thompson High School. Ashley then attended Troy University, in Troy, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in political science and a minor in journalism. While at Troy, Ashley was active in a number of social, service and academic organizations including the Student Government Association, Panhellenic Council, and Pre-law Society. Upon graduation from Troy, Ashley attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in May 2010. While in law school, Ashley arranged her academic experience around her interest in litigation, including membership on both a Moot Court Team and a Trial Advocacy Team. Ashley and her teammates competed against top law students from across the nation in a number of competitions. In 2009, Ashley and her teammates finished second at the American Bar Association's National Appellate Advocacy Competition out of one hundred eighty-seven teams. Likewise, Ashley and her teammates finished in the top eight teams at the American Bar Association's National Labor and Employment Law Mock Trial Competition in January 2010. Ashley also gained valuable experience in the area of mediation while competing in the American Bar Association's Representation in Mediation Competition. Ashley looks forward to applying the knowledge and experience gained through these competitions to her law practice today and in the future. Ashley joined Copeland Franco as a law clerk in June of 2009 while still a student at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Upon graduation, and passing the Bar, Ashley joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in September 2010. Ashley is also an active member of the Hugh Maddox Chapter of the American Inns of Court, the American Bar Association as well as the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Chi Omega Montgomery Area Alumnae Chapter. Ashley currently resides in Montgomery and represents clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in courts across Alabama.
