Attorney Profile
David's practice is committed to all stages of civil litigation, including appellate work, where he has been involved in over 20 reported decisions. David represents businesses and individuals, as both plaintiffs and defendants. His practice is primarily focused on commercial disputes, insurance coverage disputes, construction law, real property disputes, consumer litigation and administrative law. Having regularly represented both companies and individuals on both sides of the aisle, from the filing of the complaint or answer through appeal, David has acquired unique insight into how to prepare and present his client's case.
David was born and raised in Butler, Alabama, where he graduated from Choctaw County High School. David then attended Auburn University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a major in forest biology and a minor in business. While at Auburn, David was elected vice president of the Student Government Association, served two terms on the student senate and was chosen as a member of the spade honorary, which recognizes the top ten seniors on Auburn's campus. David went on to obtain his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors and served on the Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation.
David volunteers much of his time to activities of the bar and to his community. David was chosen last year to participate in the State Bar's Leadership Forum, and currently serves on both the Grievance Committee and Legal Services Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association.
